    Since our first session, Emily has always made me feel like I am her only client. She takes the time to get to know me and my individual circumstances. She makes sure I understand why she’s doing what she’s doing and why I need to do what I need to do, to reach the desired outcome. She teaches me everything I need to know about wellness and about living a whole life. Her passion is driven by the results, and it’s contagious. She’s supportive, encouraging and never judges my life choices- if anything, she helps me realise that life isn’t about putting pressure on myself to be perfect, just to do small things that help make a big impact- only if you want to!

    When I first came to see Emily, I had no idea what a Naturopath actually was. We spoke about what I wanted to get out of seeing her. I told her I wanted more energy to play with my 4 year old son, I wanted to not need 4 cups of coffee a day to keep my energy levels up, and I wanted to fall pregnant after trying for over 6 months. I also suffer from OCD related anxiety so any ‘plan’ I was on needed to coincide with cognitive therapy I was working on with my therapist.

    We made simple changes to my diet, and I started to take some supportive remedies to help keep me calm and also lift my energy levels. Within two weeks, I was feeling the happiest I had felt in a very long time. I had energy, I had clarity, and I was able to sleep on my back- something I unexplainably hadn’t been able to do since I had my son. I was also down to one coffee a day as I found I didn’t actually ‘need’ coffee to get me through the day.

    A few weeks back we started a pre conception plan. We made changes to my morning routine to allow time to focus on gratitude and shifting my thoughts from what my ‘to do list’ was for the day, to what was the one thing I was going to do to that day to keep me grounded. I don’t know what exactly it was, but I fell pregnant! I am now just under 7 weeks and absolutely blessed to have Emily on this journey with me.

    I have gone through some really devastating and even traumatic life changing experiences in my life with losing my mum to cancer, other health issues and anxiety. I’ve always been the ‘carer’ and took responsibility to put the needs of my loved ones before mine. But Emily has shown me that it doesn’t take a lot of time and I shouldn’t feel guilty to make my wellness a priority. In just over 10 weeks, she has helped change my life. I will not be feeling this calm, happy, clear and focused without her guidance. I also know that I would not be pregnant either!
